Robert Pedersen

Founder ZAGG

As an entrepreneur, visionary and brand ambassador, Robert has started, owned and managed several start-up businesses and enterprises. Robert was a co-owner and executive manager for Del Sol LLC, an Utah-based international specialty retailer of apparel and accessories, where he implemented the in-line retail store model. Del Sol now has more than 100 stores world-wide. Robert founded PayTeck, Inc., a Utah provider of Internet-based payment processing services, which was later sold to Zion's Bank, a public company. The venture that Robert is most known for is when he co-founded ZAGG Inc., a mobile accessories retailer, in 2005, quickly grew it to over $260MM in annual revenue and took it public on NASDAQ, in less than 7 years. Robert was its CEO and Chairman until he resigned in 2012. Robert has been recognized with many awards including 2009 Earnst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year, 2012 Golden Stevie Award, and 2012 CEO of the Year award presented by Utah Business Magazine. He has been featured and interviewed on many national television shows & podcasts, including CNBC's Mad Money and CBS’s Street. His latest ventures include consulting and executive management for: LuMee, a consumer electronics case company where he partnered with Kim Kardashian and had distribution with many retailers including Nordstrom and Apple; Cariloha, a specialty retailer of bamboo based luxury bath and bedding products; and most recently Co-Dx, a Nasdaq publicly held molecular diagnostics company. Robert received his MBA from Brigham Young University. He established The Pedersen Family Foundation with his wife Kim in 2009. He now resides with his family in Holladay, Utah.
