Craft Lake City Programs Administrator Jeremy Johnson
I’m Jeremy Johnson, Programs Administrator at Craft Lake City. I come from a creative background and now oversee our STEM and Youth Entretrepreneur Program, where I get to blend hands-on learning, community building, and innovation. I’m driven to reimagine how we engage with tech by making it more intuitive, inclusive, and inspiring for tomorrow’s makers and problem solvers.
Craft Lake City
Craft Lake City’s mission is to educate, promote and inspire local artisans while elevating the creative culture of the Utah arts community through science, technology and art. We accomplish this mission through educational programming which includes our year-round artisan workshop series, STEM programs, arts curatorial projects, exhibitions, event outreach, Unity Initiatives, the Youth Entrepreneur Program, the Second Annual Craft Lake City Makers Mart in Millcreek Common, the Fifth Annual Craft Lake City LetterWest Conference in Midvale, the Seventh Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market in Ogden and through our largest program of the year, the 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival. In 2024, Craft Lake served nearly 800,000 individuals and over 1,400 creatives. Collectively, Craft Lake City has served 4,305,954 people and 5,547 aspiring artists since transitioning from a volunteer-run organization in 2017.
