Utah Aerospace Manufacturers Partner on Team USA Bobsleds

Salt Lake City, Utah (November 3, 2026).

Three aerospace manufacturers with Utah operations announced a partnership with USA Bobsled & Skeleton and 47G to develop competition sleds for the 2034 and 2038 Winter Olympics. Unveiled at Salt Lake City’s Zero Gravity Summit, the collaboration assigns sled design and production to Albany Engineered Composites, materials expertise to Hexcel, and two-man sled carbon-fiber cowlings to Nammo Composite Solutions. Snowflake supports training and competition analytics. Engineering priorities include aerodynamics, durability, crew-specific weight distribution and athlete fit.
