PassiveLogic Plans Contractor Expansion and Explores Data-Center Cooling
Sandy, Utah (October 29, 2026).
Sandy-based PassiveLogic is preparing broader contractor distribution of its AI-driven building controls in 2027 while exploring data-center cooling. CFO Joel Harvill says commercialization requires careful management of inventory, component supplies and working capital. The company has raised about $125 million, including a $70 million Series C in January 2025. Management reports reaching Level 3 autonomy in July 2026 and targets Level 4 in 2027. Its digital building models could also support maintenance and equipment planning. Projected energy savings remain company estimates, dependent on adoption and performance. Broader commercial deployment, rather than technical ambition alone, remains the next test.
