Web site offers new features and functionality to make Silicon Slopes more resourceful
OREM, Utah – May 21, 2009 – Silicon Slopes, a community initiative providing exposure for Utah technology companies, today announced the release of a new and improved version of their Web site SiliconSlopes.com.
Silicon Slopes offers a free community platform allowing tech companies and their supporting ecosystem to gain exposure. The new SiliconSlopes.com Web site offers a wide variety of new and improved features that can help Utah tech companies, investors and job seekers. The new site includes the following key features:
- Updated Company Profiles -- expanded to include competitor information, online interviews, company videos, key people, jobs openings, press releases and news
- Searchable Deal Flow -- allows users to find, add and update information about who has received funding, from what participating investors, what service providers contributed and the amount of funding they received
- Job Board -- includes free job posting and applicant tracking that ties in the Utah Technology Council job board and also pushes jobs to other sites like indeed.com, simplyhired.com, jobster.com and utahpulse.com.
New features to SiliconSlopes.com also include a friendlier user interface, expanded content to cover Utah resources, activities, environment, an expanded community information section for recruits and an organizations database where user groups and other organizations can add their information, meetings times, events and history.
