Springville, Utah—Career Step, a leader in the healthcare documentation training industry, announced the appointments of Michael S. Wilstead as its new chief executive officer and Mark N. Thomas as its new chief operating officer.  Both appointments are effective immediately.

Messrs. Wilstead and Thomas joined Career Step coincident with the Company’s sale of its majority ownership to DW Healthcare Partners and BB&T Capital Partners on February 25th.

Prior to joining Career Step, Mr. Wilstead was president and CEO of InteliStaf Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the United States.  His background includes 25 years in the healthcare industry encompassing executive positions with Quadramed Corporation, Steris Corporation and AMSCO.  Mr. Thomas’ corporate experience also spans more than 25 years and includes executive positions with InteliStaf, Quadramed and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Companies.
