The Women Tech Awards is presented by the Women Tech Council (www.womentechcouncil.org) and MountainWest Capital Network (www.mwcn.org) and is designed to recognize technology-focused women who are driving innovation, leading technology companies, and are key contributors to the community. The women recognized by the Women Tech Awards have created distinguished technology careers that inspire the next generation of women technology business leaders. The Women Tech Awards recognize women in various categories and levels of leadership.

Founded in 2007, the Women Tech Council was designed to be an advocate for women who are currently working for technology companies and for those that may work for businesses in other market sectors working with technology in their job roles. WTC currently has over 200 members and provides leadership, resources and mentoring for women while maintaining a strong bond with the business community supporting avenues for top technology talent and visible sponsorship opportunities. WTC supports women-owned and women-operated technology companies. WTC is proud to be the premier organization for women technology business leaders in Utah.
