Utah job growth slows but still better than nation
Job growth in Utah continued to slow in April, providing more evidence that the state's economy is cooling, according to a Utah Department of Workforce Services report released Tuesday.
Nonfarm wage and salaried job growth in Utah was 2 percent in April, down from 2.1 percent in March. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.1 percent, down from 3.3 percent in March.
