Description:
Sales Engineer

As a Move Sales Engineers, we are the primary technical resources for the field sales force and the liaison between Sales and Engineering/Ops/PS. As Sales Engineers we are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisors and product advocates for our products. We must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. We also must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process as well as establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Duties:

Area of responsibility/focus:


1. Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations.

2. Responsible for capturing customer requests and create solutions in the field with our product set as well as one offs. This includes assisting with workflow design from source to playout; including transport, transcoding, optimal profiles, cluster configurations, etc.

3. Further the product set and drive new products through testing and self training.

4. Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

5. Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams for further product development.

6. Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, conventions, etc.

7. Provide deep on-site instruction and training for Move tools including Publish and Reporting.

8. On-site technical support for installations and Live streaming events.
