Information Technology Manager

Zions Bancorporation is looking for an IS & T Manager to coordinate the activities of staff personnel. Will guide, manage, and direct the activities of non-exempt and/or exempt employees and functions of assigned area. Analyzes and organizes area operations and procedures. Monitors and evaluates area production. Revises or creates procedures to improve efficiency of workflow. Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices. Prepares activity reports for guidance of management using computer or other automated office equipment. Prepares employee performance evaluations. May prepare area budget and monthly financial reports. Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff. May compile, store and retrieve managerial data. ITIL Foundations certified. Other duties as assigned.


Duties:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of component connectivity and the various protocols used to manage databases and channels.
  • Understand and practice necessary disciplines needed to manage using the ITIL framework:

    • Storage Management
    • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

    • Demonstrates a working knowledge of hardware components and their connectivity requirements.
    • Documented record of leadership, where your direct involvement has improved quality and service delivery to customers.
    • Demonstrates a positive attitude and possess the ability to infuse into staff a high level of passion and dedication with strong leadership skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor´s degree and 8+ years of directly related experience.
  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
  • Applies and/or develops highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts.
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of other related fields and ability to apply information to current role.
