AdvancedMD has an extensive, happy installed base of clients and is looking for an exceptional Technical Support Representative.
The key responsibilities for this role are to manage customer issues to resolution through email and telephone. The goal is to provide exceptional service and support to our base of installed customers, and to ensure that AdvancedMD support is a showcase for our sales team. The TSR will be measured on related team performance and client satisfaction metrics.
The Technical Support Representative should possess the following characteristics:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly phone and email correspondence
* Personal track record of being thorough, courteous and responsive in customer service
* Good listener, with ability to understand others’ needs and respond to them
* Ability to cool-headedly manage difficult or emotional customer situations
* Appetite to quickly achieve a high level of understanding of the software and configuration options, and be able to communicate the value of these features to clients
* Ability and desire to assist with development and maintenance of help tools for our users
* Professional appearance and attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to be available on-call occasionally for after-hours issues
* At least 1 year of related customer service experience
* Experience working in a medical practice office strongly preferred
* Strong working knowledge of Windows (XP/Vista), Word, Internet Explorer
* Working knowledge of Internet technologies, including network troubleshooting
* Experience using and/or supporting accounting/billing applications preferred
* Additional technical aptitude (hardware, database, etc.) a plus
