Perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support projects which may require research and analysis. Performs design, implementation, and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or lower level issues on multiple products. Prepare technical documentation. Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Assist in performing on-site client work.
Job Requirements
Candidates must have:
2+ years of experience in Java development of business application software
Some experience with the following: Application Servers, SOA, JBI, JMS, EJB, JCA, Web Services, SOAP, XML, UML, core J2EE libraries and multi-tier implementation architectures is helpful.
Experience developing against a SQL database
Experience with scripting languages
Experience with source code control systems Subversion and CVS
Experience with Linux
BS or MS in Computer Science, Math, Art
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Possess a love of technology, the art of programming and a passion for quality
Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation
Good analytical and design skills
Excellent communications skills
Ability to work effectively in local and distributed teams
