As CEO of Red Sky IT Solutions, John Legge is responsible for business development and innovating product and service solutions for clients. With more than 20 years of IT experience, he has built a reputation in the Intermountain West as a trusted advisor and leader.

Q:  What is your background and what does Red Sky do?

I worked for Apple Computers until the early 1990s when I came to Utah to assist with a network infrastructure upgrade at the state capitol building. After that project, I worked with various tech companies in Utah until I started Red Sky in 2004.

Red Sky specializes in creating and managing IT and telecom solutions with unmatched value and expertise. Unlike traditional VARs and resellers, we provide companies of all sizes with customized solutions from top vendors such as Brocade, Juniper, ShoreTel and others. We pride ourselves in offering flexibility and personalized support to our clients.

Q:  What type of products and services do you provide?

We partner with the leading product manufacturers of switches, routers, firewalls, VOIP, SAN, wireless, data storage and data center space to provide clients with the highest quality IT solutions for their business needs.

Q:  Where do you see Red Sky making the biggest difference for businesses?

We are setting a standard of putting customers’ needs and expectations above all else, and selling products we firmly believe are the best for their individual situation. We believe in treating the customer right—not only delivering what we promise, but exceeding their expectations. We pass along savings to our customers to ensure they receive the best value for their investment. We recognize that with the economy in its current state customers are hesitant to be locked into long-term service contracts, so we work with them to offer flexible options that they are comfortable with.

Q:  What is your company philosophy and how does it set you apart from others?

We pride ourselves on providing first class, personal service to our customers and we value our ranking as a top integrator for some of the industry’s foremost vendors. One of the things I value most about my job is the ability to help other businesses further their mission, no matter what industry they’re in.

We also provide the caliber of service that customers have come to expect from much larger companies, but with a much more personalized approach from our smaller but highly experienced team.
