Web analytics company Omniture Inc. closed on $40 million in Series C financing, allowing the company room to grow without pressure to enter luke-warm public markets. New investors BA Venture Partners led the up round, with participation from Attractor Investment Management, previous investor Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and undisclosed individual investors.
