Vice President of Creative, Chad is responsible for the company's Content Production, Publishing, and Animation Departments. With over eight years of experience working in all of these areas, both hands-on and managing teams, Chad's artistic, marketing and production expertise have been crucial to the success of DAZ 3D. His unique insight into the DAZ business and market has been vital to the creation of the company's strategies since before the official formation of DAZ Productions.
Despite the growth of his management role at DAZ, Chad also actively creates art and animation himself. He acts as DAZ's Director of Animation, and particularly enjoyed his involvement in both story development and image creation for the Christmas picture book Mr. Finnegan's Giving Chest. Chad graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Illustration and an emphasis in Computer Animation. Prior to his involvement in the 3D industry, Chad successfully marketed his own illustration work in both traditional and digital media and taught children's drawing classes at BYU's Museum of Art. Chad is madly in love with his wife and baby daughter, and enjoys traveling, skiing, and playing the drums.
