Josh Coates, founder and former CEO of MozyFirst in the series is 'Technology and Fundamental Business Concepts.' These two-hour lunch lectures will focus on the fundamental concepts and best practices of Silicon Valley venture technology startups. The target audience is for those interested in understanding the venture startup model and context, and who also have a start-up or an emerging technology venture.
Future topics include:
--Raising Capital: The Simple, Well-understood Path
--Proactive Product Development for the Enterprise Market
--Hiring the A-Team: Rocks and Clowns
--Practical Internet Marketing
--Personal Liquidity and Financial Exits
No cost for those of the target audience: Others are invited to attend at $25 per lecture. Also, you'll purchase your own lunch for this event at the Novell Cafeteria. Contributions to the Pizza Fund for User Groups (PF4UGs ;-) are encouraged and appreciated. The PF4UG is administered through Roger Andrus of the Provo BDC and chair or the University Innovations at Provo group.
