The Company was formed to develop and commercialize several imaging and reporter technologies invented by Charles Keller, M.D., a Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist, and pediatric cancer researcher. As a result of his work in developing therapies for rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer, he and his colleagues developed R&D tools that leverage recent, powerful advances in imaging, genetics, and reporter technologies. Dr. Keller and the other founders of Numira believe that providing access to these novel tools is essential for the scientific and drug development communities.
