Luxul was established in May 2000 with the vision of becoming an industry leading Wireless ISP by developing unique signal technology that would allow for non-line-of-sight connections. After successfully creating this technology, Luxul built a successful network, which it sold after reaching profitability to focus on commercializing its antenna line. Luxul then launched a series of complimentary products including amplifiers, cable, and POE solutions, as well as custom design and manufacturing based upon its wireless signal technology.
